With nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, practice sales and M&A across the United States, Europe, and Mexico, Tommy’s expertise spans a wide range of healthcare sectors. He has represented dentists, urgent care groups, plastic surgeons, freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs), micro hospitals, veterinarians, optometrists, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), imaging centers, FDA prescription drug manufacturing companies, healthcare insurance companies, and ancillary care companies.
Tommy has successfully sold practices all over the United States, whether facilitating doctor-to-doctor transactions or representing doctor clients seeking to partner with private equity-backed dental or medical groups. Throughout his career, he has also completed specialized build-to-suit projects, creative lease structures, sale-leaseback arrangements, and the purchase and disposition of office, retail, medical, and industrial properties, as well as numerous commercial land transactions.
Tommy’s extensive experience with freestanding emergency rooms has made him a sought-after speaker at several national emergency medicine conferences. He frequently presents at the Emergency Department Practice Management Association’s (EDPMA) Solutions Summit, the American College of Emergency Physicians’ (ACEP) Scientific Assembly, and the National Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers (NAFEC). His presentations focus on the Retailization of Healthcare and the Data-Driven Approach to Site Selection for FSEDs and Microhospitals.
