Start-up dental clinic in the transitioning Houston Heights neighborhood
Dr. Tony Tran, DDS, is pleased to offer the Heights community full-service dental care through his new office Discover Dental. Located at 1111 Studewood, Suite C, the new practice contributes to the vibrancy of the up-and-coming neighborhood.
“Several high-end developments and retailers, such as Whole Foods and H-E-B, are moving into the Heights neighborhood. With our pulse on the market and Dr. Tran’s practice goals, we were able to use demographics and competition ratio data to determine an appropriate location for his office,” said Patrick Valentz, principal of Xite Realty.
“Patrick has experience with real estate and the supply and equipment side of dentistry. When he’s looking at a location for dentists, he’s using all of his experience behind him.”

After graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2010 with a doctorate in dental surgery, Dr. Tran returned to his hometown of Pearland to practice dentistry. “For most dental school graduates, their goal is to open their own practice, be an entrepreneur and own their own business,” said Valentz. With the long-term goal of living and working in the Heights, Dr. Tran partnered with Xite Realty to identify a location within this growing urban area.
“Dentists have a lot of technical knowledge. When someone who is not in the field could talk to me on a technical level, it made me feel more confident in him,” said Dr. Tran.
Dr. Tran and his team use the latest technology for cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, implantology dentistry, oral maxillofacial surgery, periodontal surgery, Lumineers®, preventative care, qualified pediatric dentistry, dentures and removable partial dentures, restorative dentistry, and endodontics.
